Festival of the Mind is an annual showcase where Sheffield’s academic research meets the creative and cultural industries of the larger city - a celebration of ideas, culture and collaboration. This year I’m participating alongside Nadia Mehdi, who has crafted an audio installation based around my PhD research.

’Hot Jesus’ is an audio installation made by documentary artist Nadia Mehdi, inspired by the PhD research of Emily Marlow. It explores representations of Jesus Christ, and our reactions to them, over the past 2000 years whilst highlighting the undeniable fact that Jesus…got hot.
